Sophie Bille Brahe

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Sophie Bille Brahe was raised with a deep respect for craft and storytelling. Sophie initially trained in the traditional ways as a goldsmith in Denmark, before completing a Masters in Fine Jewelry at London’s prestigious Royal College of Art.
She launched her fine jewelry label in 2011, with a debut collection produced by hand using centuries-old techniques. Sophie is inspired by mythology and the natural world, repeating in her work patterns from the night sky and the ocean. She says that each piece she designs tells a particular story, which she hopes will be carried down through the generations. She credits her ancestor, the radical astronomer Tycho Brahe, for her love for ancient knowledge and tales. Sophie Bille Brahe produces timeless yet modern pieces using leading quality diamonds and the finest freshwater pearls; they will satisfy the most demanding collectors of fine jewelry.
