Marie Laure Chamorel describes her creations as “textile jewelry”, which she assembles
using her favorite materials such as embroidery, lace, pearls and beads, including rare
finds collected from flea markets around the world. Her pieces, mostly cuff bracelets and
necklaces, combine the softness of silk with the toughness of metal chain work. After a
career in high fashion, with select houses such as Balmain and Alaia, Marie-Laure
started her own brand of high-end custom jewelry in 2006. She gives each one of her
creations a unique touch, in line with the couture approach. Each piece can be wrapped
in a variety of ways, allowing for individuality and free choice.
