Olivia Dar’s jewelry is inspired by her lifelong passion for Indian traditional craftsmanship, which she discovered during a gemology course in Jaipur. Olivia Dar was born in Italy and lived in Paris, London and Montreal, where she studied cinema. After discovering the beauty of jewelry production in India she settled there, and began producing a collection of embroideries and accessories for haute couture labels such as Christian Lacroix. In 2011 she launched her own brand of hand-embroidered jewelry, clothing and accessories, combining high-quality artisanship with a modern aesthetic. Olivia Dar pieces exude fun and exuberance, using a rainbow palette of shiny beads and sequins. The brand is committed to sustainability and sources materials locally, including recycled fabrics and vintage pieces sourced from Central Asia. Colors and fun are synonymous with Oliva Dar.
